Not sure correct category but we shall see.....not very technically minded, and if I ask my daughter it will be in HER own time. : (. Can anyone tell me in simpletons terms how I can download music from my IPad to my IPod, ? No point suggesting desk top or lap top cos I don't have. There is no USB port on IPad so I am thinking its not gonna happen?

You're right, you can't transfer music from one to the other, if you haven't got a computer how did you get the music onto the iPad?
you just buy it from itunes on the ipad. You will need a computer with itunes on to back up your ipad and download software updates though.
What ipod is it? If it's a touch you can set up icloud which will mirror the contents of your ipad onto your ipod, if it's not a Touch, then you can't do it.
Meant to say, can't do it without a computer.

Fitzer, you can buy music from the itunes app on the ipad, it downloads the music straight on to the device.

Yes rocky raccoon, your right just how to get from one to the other technology eh? Lol
Indeed, but unless the iPod is a touch there isn't any way to get music onto it without a computer, and if it is a touch then any music purchased from iTunes on the ipad should be on the touch automatically
That's correct Fitzer.
