Burning a cd

I have an whole cd as mp3's (oasis - be here now) stored on my computer. I recently dropped the cd and cracked it.

Now I would like to copy the files onto a blank cd, but every song now has a 3 second gap in between them. On the original cd, quite a few of the songs merged into one another. Is there any software available that can let me put the songs together (or preferably just the appropriate ones)?????

nero allows u to alter lengths of pauses in between tracks

Hmmm. All I can think of is a music programme such as Cubase. You could probably copy and paste the track, and edit out the gap. OR you could just buy a new CD!

The free version of RealPlayer allows you to remove the 3 second gap, unlike Windows Media Player.

I'll get a new one, its just I would like a Creation one, and now they ones in the shops are all Big Brother prints. Thanks for the suggestions guys, and I have real player in the house so i'll give that a whirl.
