I'm on an O2 contract and about to get my free upgrade and I think i'm going to get the Nokia 6680 which is 3G. I was told I won't change my contract, just I'll be charged more if I use 3G services but I will need a new SIM card. Does this replace my old SIM or is it a second one in the phone?

Thanks

i would think that you'd need to throw your old sim away. this means that for a week or so, you may have to use the new number that comes with the new sim.
