Why would you want two?

If you want more than one device connected to the internet then you need a router – I have one connected to my Virgin modem, having four ports for connecting devices simultaneously to the internet.

i had the modem at the back of my house and moved it o re central place in the house but i had other ports connected to it, (xboxes and playstations) which all the wires run to that part of the house, but don't want to moves the wires again so thought iwould get another mdem for them to go into, which is all in the back of the house...the new modem position is at the front.

Netgear WN2000 Range Extender

Works for me and I am on Virgin Media
Sounds like you need to look into getting a wireless router.
You may have as many as you like but as far as I know you need a different phone line/cable for each. Aye sounds like you need a repeater as mentioned. You can then connect all your unmoved cables into it, and it can connect to the router wirelessly.
