Have been with them for the past 2 months and have no complaints at all a much better deal and a person to speak to if you need help, which Giffgaff does not have and you have to rely on e mails also some of the answers you get on the forum are rubbish.
I have nothing to do with Ovio but give credit where it's due, in my eyes they are excellent and I recommend them, check out their deal it can't be beaten.

I know nothing at all about giffgaff, but, as the saying goes, "I know a man who does".

I spent many a day checking out Ovivo before I went to them, my advice is to buy a sim for £15 off of them Which entitles you to 150 free minutes, 150 free text messages and 400 mb Internet, FREE EVERY MONTH, Only when you go over that entitlement do you start paying, for the calls etc, (this cost will come out of the £ 15 credit balance you paid for when you ordered the sim, therefore nobody can spend over £15 at any time, great way of controlling the cash , as the phone holder at any given time cannot spend more that this. Hope this is of some help.

Without knowing how much data per month she uses its not easy to give a definite reply, but if she does use a lot like you say then she may well need unlimited data so yep Giffgaff. (A good idea is to get her to check how much data she acually uses per month, ) then take it from there. I was surprised how much I used which was much lower than expected.which is why I chose Ovivo. 400 mb per month does what I need.
