I need to back up my PC onto an external drive, and need to know how do I place my Outlook Express e.maill address book and Internet Explorer Favourites details to an external USB storage device.
To store MS Office My Documents is an easy drag and drop, but I can find no similar facility with OE and IE

You mention Outlook Express, but the first link above is for Outlook.

The two products are different and hold their data in different formats.

Can you clarify it IS Outlook Express you are using, the email system available on Windows XP.
