No Google Service On Ipad

For a couple of days now I get the message on my ipad that" Safari could not open the (Google) page because the server stopped responding". Is there any action I can take to sort this out? Thanks.

It would be helpful to know what version of iOS ypu are using. And what model of iPad.

Google is working fine on my iPad. Have you tried changing the search engine to Bing or Yahoo to see if it is a Google specific problem or all search?

To switch search engine.

Go to settings.
Scroll down to Safari and tap.
Search Engine option is on Google by default.
Tap to change to another option to see if that works
If it does, repeat and change back to Google to see if it now works.

Mine's been working fine with Google, have you got a different browser you can try?

Are you using the iPad built in search box in Safari or are you using the url www.google.co.uk
