I have now settled for BING as the Search Engine on my default Browser....Firefox.

Consequently, I no longer get Googlers when I search the Internet because I Bing along.

Do any other ABers use BING.? If so, please comment.

@kevanswerbank......I have no reason to think that Bing is as unsafe and lacks privacy as does Google; which is able to track one's every move, so far as the Internet is concerned. Bing also tracks but I feel is more discreet about using the results.

Duck Duck Go is possibly the safest of Search Engines, because, as you already appreciate, it doesn't track. I am able to click onto it whenever I wish, as a change to Bing. I also have another excellent Searcher with the unfortunate name of Dogpile which searches other Engines (including Google) but it is deemed to be a Non Tracker.

Incidentally, besides having Firefox as my default Browser I also have Internet Explorer; SeaMonkey and Safari.

@ bibblebub.... I can't think that I have anything with a Google tag left in my computers. Chrome has gone along with Google Search. I honestly think we all could live without Google. By the way, if you have never used 'Dogpile' it's worth a look at, if only to see it's opening search page.

Since posting yesterday, I have discovered another Search Engine which could be a serious rival to Google & Ding. It is built and run from the UK and is 'Mojeek'. It is a Crawler based engine...similar to Google and Bing but does Not Track users.

How have I suddenly come upon such useful information.!!??

Daffy...I could have accepted if you said that I was Rubbish, because I did say " Google & Ding" whereas I should have said "Google & Bing".
