I always have loads of minutes I need to use up on my mobile, so I rarely use the landline, but can anyone tell me which numbers are likely to be chargeable on my mobile? I know that 0844 and 0845, and 03 numbers are best to be phoned on the landline, but are there any others? By the way, please don't send me any links, I can't access them. I just wondered if anyone knew. TIA

Download the app WeQ4U and you can call 0844 and 0845 numbers for free.

It is on the iPhone app store and Android Play.

Thanks Gromit, I don't think I can do that as I have an old basic phone, but thanks anyway.
What network are you with?

Virgin. I can make normal landline calls within my 800 minutes allowance. I think this is 01 and 02 calls, is that right, TIA

Thanks
I'm curious as to why you can't access links ??

you need to check the following site out, it lets you search for alternative numbers, so you can dial them for free on your mobile:

http://www.saynoto0870.com/

Open the link and click on, "search to find an alternative number".

Thanks for your answer, but I can't access that link. Thanks anyway
0800 is free of course on your land line, you would probably have to pay on your mobile.
Giz thats a great site, I use it all the time.

Aah thanks Smurfchops, that's one I hadn't thought of. Does anyone else know any others that I shouldn't phone from a mobile?
Marijn, you can obviously access the internet - otherwise you wouldn't be on here :)
Type "saynoto0870.com" into the address bar and it'll take you to that website. It's a VERY useful site where you can search for alternative numbers, so you can dial them from your mobile, for free ....
Or just cut and paste the link into the address bar of your browser.
