I have freeview,Freesat ,Sky TV,Radio on my Computer and I also have a DAB radio what I do not understand is why the sound from each does not match which means that is you put the tv and radio on at the same time the sound is a couple of seconds behind.
Can anyone explain in simple terms please thank you

I'm half guessing here but; digital stuff tends to cache an amount of data before starting to play, I suspect to allow continuous playback even if there is a small glitch in the data arriving. So the various sounds sources you mention may be getting data at different rates or caching different amounts before starting to play, etc..
Its also the processing speed in the individual equipment of the data
and data path in the equipment
All the different transmissions come through a range of hubs / satellites and its that delay caused through redirection that means they differ.
