Just got this phone and I find that it will only ring once before going to voice mail. I took it into carphone warehouse but the girl was most unhelpful. She rang my phone, fiddled with it then said 'can't make it ring any more than once' (more or less saying 'on yer bike'really) My daughter had the same problem but C.W.(another branch) fixed it for her.Does anyone know if I can disable voice mail please (and how to do it?) Also can I get a cheap copy of the manual anywhere or will I have to download it and print it out. I can't follow instructions on my laptop much rather read it holding it next to the phone. Hope someone can help please.

Where 'yourvoicemailnumber' is your phone service providers voice mail number. To find the voice mail dial number Touch the 'Dialpad', then Enter *#67#, followed by touch 'Call'
The amount of seconds are in increments of 5, with 30 being the max. So if you wanted say 15 secs, then you would dial:
**61*+440717941123456*10*15# (replacing 0717941123456 with the voice mail number you obtained previously)
The amount of seconds are in increments of 5, with 30 being the max.
Hope that works for you.

Pinky, bit confused re. the 10 in your command string, 11 is for voice calls, can't find anything for 10? If you wanted the divert for all calls you'd just do destination**secs#, honestly not trying to be clever, just intrigued.
PS. Rosy, since this is controlled by the network you 'should' be able to ring them and ask them to set it for you but it rather depends upon the savvy of the first person you talk to :-(

Sounds like the shop girl you spoke to was not well trained. Didn't even know to ask a more experienced colleague. Did you go during some weekend busy time when it was "all hands on deck" ? Shops with tech repair facilities will tend to have more knowledgeable staff that those with just sales staff; who really only want to flog you something and may know less than you do.
No OG I went Tuesday at 9.15am, no one in store except the girl I saw and a man about 25, someone came in to talk to the man and she was so busy trying to hear what was being said couldn't concentrate on me or my phone at all. I think I will get my daughter to do as Pinky suggests or get her to ring Talkmobile as Fitzer says, because believe me, no one can know less than I do about Technology :0(
Thank you both too for replying, does no one know how to get a manual then, please?
