Need Advice About Apps Downloaded To Android Smart Tv

i used to have bbc iplayer app , bbc news app on my sony brevia android tv. now they have dissapeared. i have went into google play store just now and tried to search for bbc iplayer but it is not found, i speak into the search box to download bbc iplayer but it just says " not found"

what could be wrong ?

also i have plex downloaded to my tv but it doesnt work or open the channels.

advice please

can you do a "first time set up" ..retune tv as though it was first installation..this may reboot things...

good point OG ...media player is for androids..try searching for that instead of player diesel

I've just looked at my Panasonic smart tv and both those apps are still there.

I know that, but there are many different models with the same name. It's the model number we need. Look at the book you got with the tv
