You need to purchase a wireless router.

Click the wifi icon:

Click on the name that is broadcast by your router.

Click to put a tick in the 'Connect automatically' box

Click 'Connect'

Enter the network security key for your wifi. (It's probably on a label on your router or in the paperwork that your ISP sent with your router). [ALTERNATIVELY: If there's a 'WPS' button on your router, you can simply press that].

Click 'Next'.
