Anyone Else Wish Ab Returned To How It Was Before?

friend of mine, who's a long-term user of AB, says he prefers it how it was. His biggest problem now is it no longer works on his iPad. Is he alone in that or is he missing something?

I prefer it the way it is now, but I don't have an iPad. Works fine on my desktop, netbook, laptop, Android tablet and Android phone

Very strange. Hated it last week. Not broke why fix it etc. Much prefer it now after only a week.

No....I cannot see any advantages (for me) in the change,although i use an iPad and a desktop.
The new version is more diverse, over indulged and not as neat and as concise as the old AB.
For me....there have been no advantages.

I think it just takes getting used to. I found how it was slightly easier, but I shall get used to it as it is now.

The only advantage for me is the print is bigger and I no longer need my specs.
Still trying to find my way around.

I'm happy with most of it but I find changing Category is clumsy; on the old layout the list of categories was always visible.

Thesshhh - get your friend to look under quizzes and puzzles, new website FAQ (from the Ed)some advice there for iPad users, it worked for me.

b. There are teething problems but they are being dealt with by the AB gnomes once these glitches are brought to their attention.

I'm used to it now, but still prefer the 'older' version, this is just too big !!

When I go to ask a question the title doesn't show, so I can't check what I am typing. When I press submit it moves and I have to find it and press again. Perhaps that is just my problem.

I think that double press is to give you chance to alter or correct your post.

It's too big. The old way you could see everything at a glance

I am not keen on the new layout...its all a bit in your face I find.

Not terribly happy with it at the moment. I keep wanting to look at all the categories on the left...rather than the new pain-in-the-bum drop down. Everything seems to require far more scrolling and general fiddling. Also...it's all way too big.
Only real plus for me is that AB no longer freezes as it had done.

I much preferred the old AB. All it needed was tweaking to get rid of the problems with being slow on tablets.
