Hello one and all :) Can anybody find me a cheap printer that is NOT wireless, but can do scans. Ta.

If you start to scan something and look at the computer screen you should find, probably next to the "scan" button, small icon. Floating the cursor over this should say "save file settings". This is misleading and it's there for you to adjust the settings. Click on that and it will open up a new menu. On that menu you will be able to define the directory where the...

On that menu you will be able to define the directory where the scans are saved and the format you wish to save them in. Select jpeg (or whatever) there and you should be in business. This is all done on your computer using the scanner software which came with the scanner, so you should be able to make the changes and then try wireless scanning again.
