Not sure if this should be here or in motoring but here goes :
Recently bought a Peugeot 2008 and I would like to use my Galaxy A3 as a sat nav. When I connect the phone as the handbook suggests via USB cable and then go to the touchscreen in the car, I am told (very basically and in my words) that I need an app for Samsung Mirrorlink on my phone. I have trawled Google for an answer but have had no luck - maybe I'm looking for the wrong thing. Can anybody advise please ?? Many thanks.

Search the app store for 'Drive Link', which appears to incorporate MirrorLink:

Very sorry but Drive Link won't download - all I get is a mesage saying no longer available. Will persist and try contacting Samsung and Peugeot. Thanks again.

Just to let you know, I contacted Peugeot support yesterday - they say my phone is not compatible, so will have to make do without.

Thanks for the update, Fbg40.

Mobile phones don't make great satnavs anyway. To be able to get accurate enough information to, say, give turn indications, they need to use the mobile phone system, as well as satellite data, to pinpoint your location accurately enough. So you either have to pay for a lot of data or turn off data services and have a product which only knows roughly where it is.
