Mobile Phones

When I leave my mobile on charge at home I am in the habit of taking a spare phone out with me. Obviously the spare has a different number so my question to you techies is, is it possible to have two phones with one number? I am aware that each mobile has a separate SIM card with its own individual & unique number but it would be more convenient to me to be able to share my main number between two mobiles.

I have used iphones for many years now, and its a very rare event that the battery runs out of steam, before I get home at the end of the day. But as I am always near my car, its easy to recharge as-I-go.

Is it worth buying something like this? and keeping it close by ?

Yes Ron....you could use a powerpack when you are on-the-go, but an in-car charger will be much better, and they are not expensive.
I use an in-car charger for my work laptop, which is very useful on a long day.
You can use a in-car power inverter, which you can use to recharge pretty much anything. It converts 12v to 240v.

Ron..surely the reason that you are asking this question is that the Mobile phone that you use, is out of order due to its need to be recharged ?
So, the easiest way to combat this is charge the phone, when you are out and about, not to dream up yet wackier ways of using 2 phones, or diverting calls from one to the other, or changing SIMs.
Just go and get an in-car charger, and your problem is solved !
By the way, if you are a light-user of your Mobile, most phones these days last ages between charges
