When I receive a call my mobile is not ringing. It vibrates. All the settings are ok. Is there a mute button I don't know about?
Any help please.

One tries to help. Gets told by those one is trying to help don't understand volume app. One explains the obvious as best one can, then get asked if one is taking the ***. Well since you're that blessed grateful for the effort put in, you explain volume app in a better way. Geeze !

Have you turned the volume up ? Otherwise it's back to 'settings'. Most will have about multiple different volumes. Such as ringtone, notification, system, media, alarm, in-call.

Yes,all volumes are at maximum. Tried everything. Will keep trying. Thanks OG.
I assume other sounds are ok.
Maybe try a volume app ?
I still have volume lock and control installed on mine.
Question Author
Not sure what you mean by volume app. Yes,all other volumes are ok.
You've heard of applications ?
Some give easy access to volume controls.
Question Author
Of course I have heard of applications!
That sounds a little condescending. Are you taking the p***?
My phone has a small mute button on top left edge (near the up/down volume toggle buttons).
Have always had Moto Gs .. whenever I have a problem, I resort to the time honoured trick that solves most issues .. turn the phone off .. and back on!

I took the phone to Tesco and the expert there sorted it. I recently downloaded Alexa and it had something to do with that.
Thanks everyone for your help.
