On a lot of websites my laptop screen flashes on and off and I can't enter the sites. Any ideas guys? TIA.

Are you using an ad blocker? Have you got any extensions that blocks gifs or anything else?
Have you tried a different browser? That's a quick and easy way to see if it's your browser or something else.

If you prefer to use the original browser the problem is not solved. I can only suggest you disable any extensions one by one until you find the culprit.

paigntonian, you may not think you are using an ad blocker but some browswers just run one by default...safari does
