Yes Nicola. It is indeed possible to watch TV on your computer. You will need what is called a TV card. You can buy one from almost any PC shop including PC world. There are many available with a variety of features such as capturing etc. They start from around 30-35 i think. You then need to fit the card into the pc as per the instructions, or get someone who knows there way around pc's to fit it for you. Then simply plug an aerial into the aerial connection on the back of the card, tune in the channels in the tv software, as you would a normal tv, and away you go! Have fun. Mark :-)
... Alternatively you can get a tuner box that sits between your PC and your monitor. You can then get full screen TV/Satellite/etc. independently of your PC, just using your monitor as the display mechanism.
Yes if you have put a sound card or graphics card in your PC then you can do it as they go into a PCI slot. A company called Hauppage specialise in these TV cards they can go up to over 100 and some incude time delay recording radio tuners and other gizmos
Just an extra note: Make sure you have enough video memory availaible - if you have an older PC with less than about 8MB Video RAM, you may not be able to view a full screen!
