Washing Machine

My Mums Bosch washing machine WAE28461 seems to have a mind of its own. Every time she puts it on the quick wash programme it instantly jumps to the 1400 spin cycle. She is fed up of doing resets as none seem to solve the problem. Any suggestions would be welcome, thank you.

Get someone qualified to fix the problem - much cheaper than buying a new machine.

Does it work properly on other programmes? If so. Just don't use quickwash.

This machine has done well for 9 years. Mum is 96 and she doesn’t think it is worth buying a new one at her age. She uses the quick wash a lot as she is housebound and never gets anything really really dirty. She does not want to wait for a two or three hour wash. I think we will check out costs for a repair. It seems to work on the programmes she doesn’t want to use, just not the quick wash. It could be a small problem as everything else is OK.
