Back Door Entry Into The Eu
https:/
Is Starmer about to begin the process of taking us back into the EU. Despite always saying that he would abide by the result of the referendum it does seem that his devious mind is ready to go back on yet another promise. For how much longer will the ordinary folks of these islands put up with this lying, devious man?

Most offers should be taken into consideration, but anything from the EU raises considerable suspicion given their record.
A trading block needs common rules, but an unanswerable federal block tends to refuse vetos and simply demand what their elite wants.
Priority ought to be elsewhere as the EU have already blotted their copybook, many times. We don't need a fifth column UK parliament accepting something that the next parliament has to publically tear up.
//We gained nothing, why anyone is kicking up a stink about rejoining is a bit silly really.//
That's a silly thing to say, IMO. We voted to leave, There wasn't an option to leave on a trial basis.. By all means try to get agreement in principle with the EU on better terms- and then put it to a referendum- or put it in the manifesto and hold a General Election. If the vote then accepts rejoining on specified terms then that's fine by me.
I haven' read the entire "Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Convention (PEM)." It is 135 pages long.
However, having glanced a it, and on the face of it, it seems to be solely a trading agreement and mainly based around "rules of origin."
If it is solely that and it facilitates smooth trade, then I would be in favour of it. I never had any objections to the trading facilities provided by our EU membership. It was the EU itself to which I objected, in particular the fact that EU law is supreme and trumps that made by national governments and their ambiions owards "ever closer union."
However, I said "on the face of it" for two reasons:
(1) I don't trust the EU to produce a Convenion based solely on trade without there being some form of political control and (2) I don't trust Mr Starmer with anything at all and if he says he is considering it I am automatically wary.
So my jury is out on this particular question.
"The bottom line is leaving the EU didnt serve any purpose,..."
It most certainly did. It meant the UK was no longer a member of the European Union (see above). As far as I was concerned that was its sole aim. Nothing much else particularly mattered.
It wasn't handled very well and I would have preferred to have left with no deal whatsoever. But I know I can't have everything all at once and what we have now will do for a start.
nicebloke. You say,16.31, that leaving the EU didn't serve any useful purpose. We rid ourselves of an organisation that controlled our lives. We had to abide by their laws, including free movement, border control and who we could do business with. The trouble is the most untrustworthy government that this country has ever seen has been elected.
Hello. Mr NiceBloke.Nice to see you, to see you nice. Sir Keir Starmer will not have to re-join the EU to save Britain from self destruction via the back door .All he needs to do is call another referendum and Britain will re-join the EU through the front door. With a unanimous vote to rejoin and save themselves from total destuction.
