I currently have Norton Anti-Virus 2003 installed on my computer and am thinking about updating to Norton Internet Security 2006 but am unsure as to what I will need to buy eg is it an upgrade, new package or whatever. Can anyone give me any guidance?

I recently bought NIS2006 which of course includes NAV and subscription. I bought the product not an upgrade...........from WHSmiths and it was half price although full price was printed on box............tis much better than my previous version of NIS which was 2004.....more features and easy to set up.........XXX
think about just using free (as in beer) software available for download:

http://free.grisoft.com/

http://www.download.com/Sunbelt-Kerio-Personal-Firewall/ 3000-10435_4-10487068.html?tag=lst-0-1

those three are all free, and work just as well as norton (in fact, better), in my experience. if you're still using Internet Exporer to browse the web, change to firefox:

They don't do an upg from NAV (Norton Anit Virus) to NIS (Norton Internet Security), you will have to buy the full NIS version which is now 2006. P/N 10432833-IN
