is there any way that i could find out what programs came with my pc when i bought it as my daughter has down loaded that many things i have loads in my control panel (add remove) i know i could go back to factory settings but i do not want to loose alot of my songs, photos, and things

A bit laborious but will do what you want

Start - all programmes.

Right click on a programme and then properties.

This will tell you the date that programme was created.

You will be able to work out from there which programmes have been downloaded since you bought the pc.

But, does it really matter what was there when you got your computer and what wasn't?

I suggest just uninstalling what you (and presumably your daughter) no longer use.
