Ebay - "# of watchers"

What does this mean on Ebay? Its on one of the items I am selling and its says "# of watchers" and underneath it says "1"

Simply that someone has chosen to watch your auction because they are interested in it. A lot of buyers don't bid until the last minute so having lots of watchers can tell you how much interest there is in the auction. Maybe they want to see how high the price will go or maybe they are watching a few auctions for the same item so they can compare prices. Sometimes other sellers will watch auctions to get an idea about the going rate for a particular item.
