I've recently switched to BT internet and need to set up another email account in Outlook Express. Specifically, it needs to be my husband's website email address which is a .com address but it looks as though I can only open one if it ends in @btinternet.com. Can anyone help please?

you could try going into outlook express and under the
Tools > Accounts > Mail , use the Add function, select Mail and type in the name as you want it to appear on the E-mails.
Youll then get the screen for the e-mail address you want -IE [email protected] (for example) and finally you have the screen for the servers.
You should then be able to put in the server that provides for your husbands web-mail, if for example it was Yahoo, the incoming server would be (something like) Pop.yahoo.com and the outgoing server smtp.yahoo.com.
Once added,go back to tools > accounts highlight the specific e-mail address and then go to connection and select - always connect using BTinternet.
This "should" work :-) unless BT block other ISP addresses - I was with BT for a couple of years and had no problem using external e-mail addresses , so unless theyve changed ???...
Good luck
