If you photocopy something then put it in one of those plastic wallets, over time the printing/pictures stick to the plastic. Short of laminating everything is there a way of actually 'fixing' the copied image? [to stop this happening] Does ironing it work?
Dunno about ironing, but I've just bought a load of A4 punch pockets to hold a copy of a manual, that (supposedly) don't lift the print off the paper surface. They probably do the same material in the ordinary wallets, too.
Artists fixative spray would probably do the job (cheap can of hairspray will do the trick as well). That's the traditional method of "fixing" the surface of a piece of paper.
