As ever you guy's are the best i posted a question last week about my pc closing down and rebooting and closing down i have since discovered it's the SASS exe. Shutdown virus anyone know how to fix or are we done for?

I'm confused! sass.exe is definitely something you don't want on your PC but it shouldn't be shutting it down. sass.exe is the executable file of the Funsta parasite which is a browser hijacker.

Either way, you don't want it on your PC. If you can keep it running long enough, you can follow these instructions to remove it:

Alternatively, overlaying your Windows installation should do the trick.

i'm not the most technical person but i looked up sass virus and it matched what is happening to the pc. Thanks for your help i'll check out that link.
There is a patch on the microsoft site that deals specifically with the SASS problem....just type it into their search engine and download the thing.
