iPod back-up

My laptop was stolen, and it contained my iPod file, playlists, etc, which I updated regularly. With a new laptop replacing the old one, I find I can't restore the data on my iPod to the new laptop. Anyone know how?

However, trouble is it relies upon having the old computer.

I think with the full version of winamp you can upload your songs to your computer...

Many thanks, I still have old ipod, but not the original computer. I have ipod rip, but have been afraid to try it.

You need third party software to help you copy music from iPod back to comptuer, because iTunes couldn't help you do that. I have been using this iPod transfer to copy my iPod files back to computer for a long time, it works really nice for me. Here is a step by step guide about how to copy songs from iPod to PC
