hi all when i shutdown my computer i have to close msn and all the other programs im on is there any way when i switch it on it goes onto msn and the last program i was using if you get my drift cheers x
you can set messenger to start when you log onto windows. on the new beta version of Internet Explorer you can also set whichever web page(s) you're viewing to open up the next time you turn on your computer and log onto windows
If you use firefox for browsing, you can set it to startup automatically by putting a shortcut to firefox.exe into your startup folder (in start->programs).
Then you can use the Tab Mix Plus extension which has a session manager, which can be made to automatically load the last saved session when you start firefox.
Another route is to hibernate your computer (right-click desktop, click properties, screensaver tab, power button, hibernate tab; to activate).
If you want programmes to start automatically, open the Startup Folder and drag the shortcut to your programme into it.
If you want to set your Internet homepage to msn or where you last shut down your pc, look in Explorer under tools/options.
