Sound problems
3 Answers
We have four speakers and a big box thing that looks like a larger speaker (?) that they all plug in to. Some of the sound thingies on our computer include 'EAX' and 'Audio HQ' - hopefully this means more to you than it does to me. My problem is that only two out of the five speakers actually make any sound. I know the two back ones work because I think they did briefly, but now if I try to load up the 'Audio HQ' from Control Panel I get the error message:
'A required AHQman.DLL is of an incorrect version. Make sure that it is of the correct version'
I think this was what I used on our old computer to adjust the speaker balance and stuff, and now it won't open. Admittedly, I haven't attempted to update the driver, but if anyone has any other suggestions I would be grateful.

I'm with sft42: reinstall the Creative HQ software http://www.soundblaster.com/
