Oh dear, looks like you've got a popular virus. If you can stay online long enough, download a Mcaffee free trial virus program, and that will fix it (or Norton), but Mcaffee can delete part of an affected program so you would need to reload it, though the data itself should be safe. Otherwise, you have to look at windows explorer in programs and windows files and look for any odd names. If you check on properties when they were made, and the date was not when you loaded something, it's probably a virus. But you will need a separate removal program for the extra bits they tie to other programs, as they can literally attack anything in the computer, but are usually easy to remove as well.

Errrmm, yes sounds like the Blatster Worm [virus].

To stop the computer from shutting down, click Start, Run, Type: shutdown -a and then click OK.

Now click here target=_blank>http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823980">here> and download and install the update.

Then click here target=_blank>http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc
/data/w32.blaster.worm.removal.tool.html"> here to download a removal tool or click here target=_blank>http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/">here to downlaod a specfic scanner, this will detect blaster and then remove it.

However if you clickhere target=_blank>http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php">herea> you can download a free virus scanner, install, update, scan and then remove.
