My mouse is pretty much dead, the lights are on but there is no one at home.

Its one of those wireless ones, I have changed the batteries, left it in its holder overnight. The green light is on but nothing happens, am having to use that stupid little fingersensor thing on the laptop (how technical am I???)

Any ideas?

thanks
