using mobile phone abroad

Im going to the Netherland 2moro , I dont know if I could use my mobile phone in there or not? I have got a pay as u go with O 2 and also an Orang conection . anyone knows which one of them I could use in there?>

You often have to phone O2 or your provider and ask them to turn the international roaming facility on before you go.

When I go to France - all I have to do is dial the number on my phone and not alter any of the digits (+44 knocking the zero off etc) and I'm with O2.

Don't forget if you receive a call in a foreign country you get charged the same as if you are making one.
