outlook and downloads

hi when i used outlook express when you had pictice attachemnt it would show them at the top as the file name but also show them in the body of the email. so you did not need to open each one individually.

also my outlook express used to show an email icon in the bottom right when you get new emails.. with outlook I have set it up to change the image for mail.. but it does not seem to.. does it not do it with hotmail.. and only with pop emails.. seems odd as they are both microsoft..
