DAB radio with AUX in
3 Answers
Not sure whether to put this in here or in shopping but here goes, can anyone recommend a DAB radio with either an AUX or line in with push button presets please?
Portable or Mini is OK, CD not necessary. Thanks if you can help.

Firstly, whichever Dab radio you finally choose, don't simply opt for the cheapest. There really is a big difference in both sound quality and ability to receive stations.
I am a buyer of electrical goods for a department store, where we sell a variety of DAB models and brands, catering for all pockets. I do not have info to hand right now, but would recommend you check out models made by both Roberts Radio (big range), and Pure. I am certain you will find something suitable. Hope this helps.
Best wishes

Ta for the input ck, Im Christmas shopping and need something as a stopgap for a pressie. My understanding is that DAB is going to change within a couple of years anyway so its pointless getting anything with a view to it being future proof at the moment?
Seems to be easy to find something with multiple push button presets OR an AUX in but tricky to find one with both. Theres a Pure in Argos here with no push button presets so might as well go for this one instead and save a few quid! Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks again.

Hi Jon
The models you are choosing between are very much chalk and cheese aren't they? The one at Argos is more of a micro system , whilst the other is a very cheap and cheerful refurbished portable unit. I understand your comment about possible changes in the future, but that is still not a certainty. Either way, whatever the future might bring, you still want decent performance now, and I very much doubt you will find that in the 17.99 unit. I think you need to decide first what type of radio/system you want. Portable or fixed, then take things further into whichever type you select. Regards. CK
