PC DVD Rom don't work

My DVD Rom will play dvd films, will read data dvds but will not run programs to install software. I get an error that E:\autorun.exe is not a valid Win32 file and if I try to manually run autorun I get partial load memory errors. Can someone help?

Thanks potatoman, the wizard found a problem but couldn't fix it. Looks like I need to keep trying.
