Laptop-Battery

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me, why my laptop has suddenly decided to run on battery, even though the computer is plugged into mains.

Check the fuse in the wall-wart! Also the mains fuse or circuit breaker in the house for that particular circuit. Of course the wall-wart may have died (is it warm?) or its ickle plug into your laptop may be iffy.
