Add or Remove Progs

Would it be advisable to remove all the updates in Add & Remove? I seem to have dozens of them dating from 7/8/05 To 13/2/08. My `Scroller` is getting smaller and smaller. (Now, now, no rude comments you`s guys)

Not sure what operating system you are on but on XP you can hide the Windows updates from the list.

At the top of the Add or Remove programs window is an option Show Updates. If this is selected, a tick, all the Windows updates are shown.

Remove the tick and the updates go away and you are just left with programs.

Note you say remove the updates but if you actually go through the process of remving them you are actually uninstalling them which is NOT want you want to do.
