BT home hub v2

hi, i was installing a bt home hub v2 for a friend of mine nor the cd of windows connects with the box eventhough all the blue lights are on and are solid (means it should be working) but cant pick the wireless up. i cant get the yellow wire to the pc eitheir, please help.
ps the old v1.5 worked perfect itf thats any use.

type http://bthomehub.home/ into the address bar of your browser and login, the username is admin and the password is (depending on your version) either also admin or it is the serial number of the hub which is on a sticker on the bottom
Once logged in find the setup page for the wireless access point and make sure that
Wireless is enabled
change the network name (ssid) to anything you want (this the the name the hub broadcasts publicly so DO NOT use your password.
Set the security to WPA-PSK
enter a network key, this is a password, it can be anything you want, make it secure!
Save all settings and disconnect the yellow wire, search for wireless networks and you should see one that matches the SSID you typed in earlier, try to connect to that and you will be prompted to enter the network key that you entered, type that in and you should be connected by wireless.
