system restore disk

my pc seems to have crashed and is asking for system restore disk i cant find mine can i download a free copy from any where cos my pc just keeps coming up with windows logo again and again can not get in to anything i am on windows xp please help

no you can't download one.

if you contact your PCs' manufacturer they may supply you with a replacement for a small charge.

will it go into safe mode? keep pressing f8 while it's starting and select safe mode when you get the option.

Though without more info even if it does go into safe mode it's hard to say what to do that may help? Do you have any idea what may have caused the problem, had you just changed, moved, or updated anything?

no have not done anything with it was working one day then next just keeps loading windows logo again and again and dont ave disk to wipe it

how old / what make ?

newer ones tend to have a recovery partition built in - generally something like f2 or f8 on startup

its about 2 year old not sure of make

it is a samsung pentium 4 tryed loading in safe mode still does same loads gateway windows xp over and over again
