I have bought a DSN 'hub' which works better if the computer has DSN 2.0. How do I know which type of DSN port my computer has?

Are you sure this isn't USB 1.1 or 2.0? If your computer was built within the last couple of years it should really have 2.0 as standard, and Windows XP will show a little error over the system tray if you plug a high speed (2.0) device into a non high speed (1.1) socket.
