but (and this is common to a lot of ISP's, not just Tiscali) If you have problems the tech support line is in India and they appear to employ trained monkeys that can only follow on screen instructions.
only the techies will understand this, but I knew I was onto a loser with the support line when they told me "sorry we don't support windows Linux"
I've used them for a couple of years, and moved my phone rental to them as well a couple of weeks ago, and have had no problems at all.
Haven't had to call tech support yet (perhaps that's a good sign in itself?) so can't really comment, but as Chuck says, lots of ISPs get bad press for that.
just to clarify a little the fault was not Tiscalis when I had to call, it was a BT fault at the exchange and affected the whole village regardless of ISP.
i'm with tiscali and have had no problems with them , i pay around 20 a month for 2 mg broadband and all phone calls are free ,the tv package is thrown in as part of the deal so why not get it and have it installed in the bedroom ,like i did ( i have sky downstairs )
