Good Morning AB-Linkers and Welcome! Well, it's been about 2 years since I was last 'Queen' Julia of the Links and lots have happened in that time (as I'm sure this is true for all of us). The most important and enjoyable turn of events is that I became a grandmother in December and I am loving it. Also, I have taken on a part-time job working for an Insurance Company in Ipswich, just on a "temporary basis". I was originally supposed to work for 6 weeks, but I have now been there for over a year and I still don't know when I am due to finish.
On the days I don't work, Jim and I love to tour around Suffolk, looking around the old churches and the villages with their thatched cottages. I'm always amazed at the number of people who come from all over the world to these small villages and churches. I also enjoy corresponding with my relatives and acquaintances that live abroad. Of course this used to be done by letter, but now it is mainly by email. We also love looking around Art Galleries. I hasten to add that I know very little about Art. Jim has a better understanding of the various mediums and techniques used than I do. However, I do enjoy looking at the end results and often wish that I could produce something half as good as some of them.
Once again, I shall follow the rules relating the word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one or more of your attempts! Each of my selected words may go in front of or after my challenge word. The competition will officially close at 7.00pm on Sunday evening when my selected words will be declared, and points awarded in the usual manner. My first set of words to be linked should appear below at 9.00am.
