dial up

Having just reformatted my hard drive, my outlook express no longer connects automatiocally when i click on shortcut, i have to dial up by clicking on my dial up shortcut, how to change please?

In your web browser select Tools/Internet Options/Connections and ensure that the button labelled `Always dial my default connection' is enabled. Then in Outlook Express go to Tools/options/Connection and ensure that it reads that it shares Internet connection settings with Internet Explorer. If not change it to do so.
