Hi All. I'm back. I've been to see my sister who has had all the leaks and boiler problems. She has in each bedroom a big humidifier and a blow dryer, big industrial size things. All the wallpaper has been pull of by the insurance inspector to find out where the water has been and he is coming back in a few days to measure up to see if it's drying out ok. The the insurance company say she can then have the ceiling and walls repapered. She is staying at her daughter's house every night until it is all dried out. I feel so sorry for her.
Anyway how are you all today? OK I hope. Pleased to hear Mr. S is coping a bit better with things and is putting on weight,
I don't know how I resisted spending more in town Robi. Not like me that is it? Usually I buy a top or some sort of clothing. I thought I might be bought some smellies for Christmas so I resisted topping up my cupboard until after. I bet I don't get any and have to go for a big shop after.
Sorry can't help you with the Corrie programmes Neti I don't watch any soaps or reality shows. Aren't I boring. Mind you, I have been known to watch the results show on Sunday of the Dancing programme.
The final episode of the ring saga.......It has now been returned to me and I'm happily wearing it. Thanks to Kit and all concerned.
On my way into the other room for a tidy up. I have a friend coming round tonight for a chat.

Sleeting down here ,grey and miserable .I had to trail out in it to get the errands so now drinking a nice coffe with a splosh to warm me up .
That sounds dreadful for your sister Jude .I've had a dose of water damage myself .It's no fun .I hope they soon get it all sorted out for her asap .

I would consider buying one actually it's so nice but my knuckes don't accomodate rings these days.

Hi Shaney. You are probably right. I will mention it to him. However, I haven't changed any medications at all. I have always been prone to nightmares - I think it's because I am so anxious, but they are definitely getting worse.

Mr Open Reach has been and confirmed what we already know that the underground telephone cables are prehistoric. Why would they bother to change them when there are so few houses!!! We have to pay the same as everybody else for an inferior service. Anyway, it will mean more traffic lights being organised and more road digging - it's ongoing!!

Its snowing, by the way!!!

Hi woofy, well hija seems to be ok, bleeding a lot through drains, and is rather large!!! Am having to book her a hotel for one night in Barca before she flies back her on Sunday as she has been let don on accomodation and sitting all night in airport isn't a very good idea when she's a bit sor! Thanks for asking, seems silly to worry about self inflicted wounds when your hubbies are really going though a lot!

Daughter went into the kliniek in Genk Brussels, Belgium an "A" cup and has apparently come out 4 hrs later a "D" cup, heaven help us!!! I'm expecting to collect Jordan from the airplane!! :-(. Still I'll reserve judgement until I actuall see her on Sunday!

morning all. Decided last night not to struggle out early with the boys as sheet ice forecast. We all had a lie in, DH is still sleeping. He was told yesterday that he has one small area which needs to be treated and the best way will be to go to a specialist clinic which has a thing called cyberknife. Apparently it can all be done in january and finished with. More concern is that his kidney function bloods are slightly wobbly. It might just be a glitch due to stress but he doesn't have another blood test till monday, results wednesday so we wait in limbo. Oh pee po belly bum.
Does hija stay a d cup or is some of it bruising?

oooh, it's cold again, yesterday I had no heating on & the windows open until the afternoon. Still, at least it's sunny & lovely blue skies, Charlie actually seems to cope with this better than the dark, damp days.

Hope you get the smellies you're hoping for Jude, I found a new one I liked last week, Bronnley Lime & Bergamot, it was so fresh. I really don't like this xmas shopping..it's not that I don't like buying for people, I just don't know what to buy, especially for Tarquin. :o(

Best wishes to husbands & recently enlarged daughter :o) I hope they're what she's hoping for neti, I don't think I could put myself through the discomfort & any potential problems. Is she very slim? I know someone in her 20s who had hers done and then she put on a lot of weight & you couldn't tell they'd been done.

Hope Mr W's kidney blood tests are OK. Sometimes mine are not quite right and then they go back to normal. I know, though, that they have to be extra careful with Mr W. Doc told me that the tests are so precise these days that every little thing shows up and there isn't always a problem.

My Marks and Sparks jumper came. Size Large - it would fit someone well who is size 12!! It is also far too short. I am sending it back today if the Post Office queues are not too long.

We have a layer of snow, but not too awful, so am going to brave driving.

Regarding Boobies - is it true that once you have them done then they need doing again from time to time as you and they change shape. What worries me is that before I had my son I was very small busted and developed some nice C cup boobs when I was pregnant that have stayed at C cups.

Still, it seems that lots of young women do this nowadays and perhaps I am just out of touch.

Hope she is OK Neti. I wouldn't like to travel after something like that. Did a friend go with her?

I know how you feel about buying for Tarquin, I have the same problem with Master LL. ( I shall call him Splodge from now on. That's what Mr LL called him as a child!!) I could buy loads for Mrs Splodge, but Splodge seems to have every gadget under the sun, doesn't like smellies, ain't a fan of clothes (mostly bought at the Army Surplus stores) and downloads most music. He does love books though so books it is again!!!
