Evening saffron buns - I see they're not as big in the UK as they are over here in December

In November and December when you're waiting in line at the checkout at the grocery store they have small saffron "envelopes" on display on the cash register to remind you to ask for it there (too expensive to lie about on the shelves). My cat loved saffron and I do too (great in soup) so we used to share a saffron bun now and then. And if anyone drops by from CB to say how sad is that they ALSO won't know what hit them - lol Shaney!

Another inneresting day at the library, I've never been so approached by young men in all my life. Today's one wanted to chat and to sell me beers because he had too many. Very sad, he was only 21 and drunk at noon. I didn't handle it well cos I'm fed up with being approached by youths who think I'm an idiot, but this one I probably should have talked to. Not sure what I could have done, though - but still.
Winged crampons (tampons?!) is a great design idea Vinny. Or if you meant magic carpet sanitary pads that'll be fine too - and one magic sanity carpet too please, I really need that one. (Winged crampons would sell, really they would:)
