About time too jno, he was rubbish.
:o)
well, he sounds as if he was busy
Well, he wasn't busy with me!! I loved his singing but couldn't stand his looks, he looks just like my old Aunt Ethel, and not a pretty sight.

Morning all. It is Mr N's and mine 35th Wedding anniversary today, but we are not doing anything special, just all 3 of us going to the lovely chinese restaurant down the road.
Sinusitis, antibiotics and yet more snow. We had another three or four inches last night. Snow on top of pots and things is now about 11"!! It looks incredible. See you soon. I'm not up to much!!!!

Take care all of you.
morning blossoms..
still no snow ere,but 2 miles up the road inland they were covered in it..very pretty to.
"About time too jno, he was rubbish"erm think that says it all robi..but look on the bright side..yer sons got lovely red hair:O)how you coping with all that snow in the south east pretty but not much fun i guess.minus -6 overnight ere braaa!.
Im gonna check out these snow socks from sweden for car tyres sounds pretty good.keep warm people..later:O)
Greetings from a very frozen north, just when you thought it couldn't get any colder....eek! I've taken some pics but in a hurry so I'll have a look at them in a minute...probably just a white blurr.

Hope you feel better soon Lottie, keep warm. I feel a bit better for having a good long rest yesterday, I might get domestically dynamic later.

happy anniversary, neti, go out and play in the snow.

No more snow here and they're not expecting any, so it's lying only an inch deep. Sounds quite localised as I am on the northern outskirts of the big city and to the south they're all up to their armpits... well, jno jnr's gf has sent a photo of herself knee deep, anyway.
oh sorry it's taken me so long...
Happy Anniversary to neti & the long suffering mr n
some ice pics for you

Happy anniversary to the N's and many more of em. DH has gone off for his scan appointment, he texted me on arrival and says the main roads are clear...forecast tonight is for rain and then a freeze so he's gone off with a shopping list too.
Shughy had a monsters in the garden night last night...I am a bit sympathetic as he hasn't had a run out for 3 days now. Anyway at 01.00 I let him go out and chase them and dig in the snow for an hour..when he gets the fit its all you can do, he paced and whined from 23.00 to 01.00 last night while I tried to ignore him :-( Rab who loves the snow goes out for 5 minutes, gets bored comes back in and goes back to bed, i dozed on the settee...I swear to goodness that our next dogs will be normal....we keep on getting the weird ones.
Mick baby's apology doesn't involve me either...but what a voice...
Well, I feel like the Queen Mother now, I can understand what you are suffering as we had snow for 2 mins, it skitted about then rained, it is absolutely freezing here, and no comforts like damp proofing, so floors very cold, except in bedroom where we have wall to wall carpeting!

Was sitting outside a cafe having a coffee quietly on my own, having had a jolly long walk, when all my friends from Cala Llonga (next hamlet) came by an so we sat there having a craic, was great fun, and it just got colder and colder, so I slogged on home!
anyone who feels sorry for queen sweti raise your hand now please...

Lol at you Robi and Neti and Jno and at last I can really laugh. My boiler packed up about 3 hours ago and bless my gas man - he has been and gone. He said I bet you the pipe's frozen and it was. So I now have a drippy pipe at the side of my house but my boiler's working again. No charge!
Happy anniversary Neti. Hope your day was a good one.
I'm not fond of Mick either but I did like some of his music.
Off out to my son's gig tonight. Have to get a taxi as he's still got my car. Should get it back tomorrow if the weather keeps improving. I did go to town today on the bus and did a bit of Christmas shopping. Then had a good walk in the sunshine which gave me a lift then came home to the not working boiler but all's ok again!
Have a good weekend everybiddy. x

ouch lottie infected sinnusses been there...seriously try and get some sterimar its magic stuff, very helpful and soothing.
Evening chooks
Gosh ,Mick Hucknall looks a bit grim, all saggy jowled :) I like the music but not the man .

Happy Anniversary to you and Mr N. Neti.Hope you enjoyed your meal and wish you many more happy years of hiding things in cupboards :))

Very cold here ,we've had some more snow and it's frozen solid .Streets like glass.Picky had to dig himself out in places today on his travels round the wilds of Norfolk . It's pretty grim in the Fatherland too.

I feel a bit rough round the edges .Can't shift this cold and am full of catarrh . I'm all bunged oop . Arthritis index says extreme today and they're not far wrong .
I'm hoping to go the Farmers Market in the morning so I'm off to bed with my bottle ( hot water type , not whisky...lol ) , a hot lemon drink and the latest JLB book .
Keep warm everyone , have a good weekend and take care if out and about .
Evening everyone, many thanks for your good wishes, just back from restaurant, we had a fab time, ate so much, had a laugh. Glad we took the sprog with us!

Any ideas - I've had a dreadful pain inside my neck at the back for about 5 days and it goes right inside my skull and the top of one side is so sore to touch, have taken Hedex, paracetamol and half a bottle of wine and it's till there, really painful, could it be arthritis, although obviously I'm, scaring myself thinking it's a tumour or aneurism, and have felt quite rough all day and am not sure (I may be imagining it) my eyesight is disturbed.) Want reassuring please.
wouldn't have thought half a bottle of wine was the cure myself - more like the cause in my case. Any osteopaths out your way? You might just have twisted a vertebra half a millimetre.

You probably just need to rest your head in the snow for a couple of hours.
