Morning everyone. Shaney I hope you finally managed to get some sleep, you and woofy have so much to cope with that you both need your sleep.

I had an excellent leep with hardly any head pain thanks to aspirin, it's magical!

Lovely photo Neti. Mr LL and I spent a drunken week in StE back in the early 70's when we got free flights. We used to just turn up at the airport and go where ever there was a space on an aircraft. We both worked for different airlines, but even so if there was no space available to return all of the airlines working out of Luton were very happy to give you a lift back - sometimes to UK airports the other end of the country. Hey those were the days - not like that these days!!!
Anyway, after drinking our way through a flight we stumbled onto a tour bus and stumbled off at St.E because it looked nice and found ourselves a room above a 'pension' (or is that French) for a week!! It was Easter and we got involved in all the lovely celebrations.
Also spent two weeks near Ibiza town when I was, but can't remember the name of the place.
Is St.E still quiet.

Morning all...minus 9C (but Accu says minus 12 which is probably nearer to the minus 30 that it actually feels like). I knew I should have put more salt down, there's a wooly mammoth at the end of the garden.
Oh poor shaney, abandoned in Asda. I'd batter anyone who took me to Asda let alone left me there, I really don't like it. Well I don't like ours, I'm convinced it's got sick building syndrome, I'm not the only one who feels unwell in there.

Well good morning folks. A lovely sunny morning even if it is freezing cold and frosty and we (friend and I) are off for coffee at the Garden Centre (and cake!!). The car hasn't been used for a couple of weeks, so it will enjoy a jaunt.
Swedie, I don't know how you keep your lovely sense of humour through all the turmoil. I would be climbing up those crumbling walls by now.
Shaney, poor you. I hope you eventually got some quality sleep. It seems to be as if you are overtired, hence not being able to relax and sleep. Would some calming music help you, or even one of those relaxation CD's you can get!! Thinking of you.
Nets, I am glad the aspirin helped. Aspirin are OK to take as long as it isn't long term.
RIP worktop Mousey!! He got caught last night. Our house is just flint and bits of old red brick held together with 200 year old lime mortar and mices are very adept and digging tunnels in it and setting up home in the walls. The walls are very thick, but occasionally they make it through to the inside!!!!

Robi its funny you should say that about Asda, I hate them too..the red and yellow make my head ache and they always seem to be too crowded and messy and confused.

The troll (s) over the weekend were pretty bad but not the worst it has ever been on here...ho hum these things come and go...certainly seems like weekend Ed wasn't doing his/her job though.

I used to think it was just me, I'm a 'can't queue, won't queue...get the people away from me type' but as I've started to mention it to people more often (ok, grumble more often) I find they say the same about Asda.
Charlie's very sleepy recently Lottie, but it's no wonder is it? Poor little chap's obviously feeling it in his bones too.
Does anyone else get nose bleeds in this? It's nothing new to me & I know it's a combo of the cold weakening the blood vessels & dry heating adding to irritation but it's another annoyance I could do without. Nice aching arm & bruise appearing btw but the swelling's gone down.

Hi all, here's something to really annoy you - it is 22º here and we are all way too hot in winter garments.
I went to chemist to get more aspirin and they said cos of BP I could only take it occasionally so have got an appointment with medico today at 18hrs.
Yes lottie, it is lovely and peaceful here, did you stay at Taamanca or Play den Bossa when you came over they are near to Ibiza town. Yes pension is a little hostal type place, we have 3 I think, Cesars, Hostal Central and Sa Rota, was it one of those? I was here in the early 70's, maybe we crossed paths as it was in my drinking days.

Well afternoon now actually .I haven't been up long .Lazy moo I am.
No I don't sleep well lately at all .If I don't get eight hours I'm nobodys friend .Sometimes I'm so tired but then when I get into bed I become wide awake again .
Sick building syndrome is right Robinia .I hate these big superstores but I'm grateful my brother takes me as I can't lug the shopping .If he didn't wander off and leave me it might be better .He's threatened me with Sainsburys next week . I shall watch where he goes and follow him :)
Tescos here does for it for me .The minute I go in there ( though not very often) I feel sickly and get the urge to go to the loo for some reason .
Very cold here still but the snow's all gone .It's just bleugh Dank and foggy .
