The thing is, the iPad has shifted somewhere in the region of one million units through preorder alone. None of the other rivals of the iPad has shifted anywhere near that amount. Unless it's something really special (and looking at it, it isn't) then I don't see the Dell Streak ever becoming a serious rival.

This is number 1 of a 3 item range, with the streak being the phone and the 7'' and 11 inch tablets coming out further along the line as I understand it.

Well, if these new pads can shift a million units in the preorder stage, then I'll consider it a viable rival to the iPad. Also, considering the fact that a number of people I know have iPhones, whilst nobody I know has a Streak, it seems to indicate just how well these phones appear to be not selling
